What We Do
School Holiday Workshop
School Based Program
"Jack came and delivered two days of skateboarding workshops during our school holiday program. He engaged the young people brilliantly and there was a noticeable boost in confidence for the participants across both days. We would definitely recommend Build Up Skateboarding for future youth events"
"The Build Up crew gave us excellent service, with energy and care, and resources that continue to be used and valued in the community. The kids were invested at every step, building the equipment and learning how to express yourself on the board. The equipment is sturdy and practical, and continues to be used regularly since."
"I would like to thank your team from Build Up Skateboarding for all your time, effort and hard work you provided in our community during your 3 day visit. Our youth have had a great time. I have seen so much light brighten up in their eyes. Skating was a new sport in our community as our kids only liked AFl and basketball. After your visit, I have witnessed our youth bush kids from the small remote community of Warruwi, Goulburn Island, become very good skaters. Skating is now a new sport introduced to them that they already love so much, Every night we open the youth centre and there's always a kid complaining about another hogging the board :) We are looking forward to your next visit. Hope to see you all soon."

Build Up Skateboarding aims to empower young people via skateboarding engagement.
Our programs provide a safe environment for participants to explore their creativity, build their confidence and develop social skills while engaging in an alternative, challenging and rewarding physical activity.
The programs offer an opportunity for personal development in an entertaining atmosphere. We love seeing the Build Up of skills and confidence in the participants, both on and off the board.
We are passionate about the work that we do and are inspired to grow and create access to skateboarding for regional and remote communities across Australia.
